The beautiful Balearic Island of Mallorca boasts an average of 300 days of sunshine each year, making it perfect for cycling enthusiasts. Our newest tour in this region of Spain offers an excellent choice of cycling options, while being centre-based at two points of accommodation during this 8-day tour.
It’s an island with a great Mediterranean landscape of pine, carob and oak trees surrounded by sandy beaches and impressive cliffs. The tour begins in Sencelles where accommodation is provided at an “agriturismo”, a classic Mallorquin farmhouse. The second half of the tour is spent in Pollenca at an elegant hotel within the historic city center.
The daily cycling options average 30mi/50km per day with possibilities for side tour visits or short hikes. Mallorca radiates with beauty and uniqueness – a destination for those seeking something different. Cycling is a wonderful way to see the very best of the island, be it the spectacular mountains, wide plains, nature reserves, orange groves, fishing villages or coastline. There’s also plenty of time for relaxation to enjoy the sun, sand and sea!
